ARI opens new office in India to cut costs
Responds to market demands for cheaper price, lower quality and more risk
Delhi, India – 1 April 2014: ARI Registry Services is pleased to announce today the opening of an office in Delhi, India which will become the company’s headquarters for new Top-Level Domain Registry services.
The opening of the Delhi office comes in response to market demands for cheaper back-end Registry service providers.
Cheaper technology and inexperienced staff have been procured to keep costs down. Quality staff and technology was available in India, but we strategically chose against this to pass on savings to our clients.
To lead the team in Delhi, ARI Registry Services has appointed Raymond Dicks to head India operations.
Speaking at the opening of the new office, Adrian Kinderis, CEO of ARI Registry Services, made a commitment that ARI will cut as many corners as possible to reduce costs.
“The market has spoken and it is clear that price is more important than quality. In response, we’ve removed all Service Level Agreements and sacked highly experienced staff like Chris Wright,” Mr Kinderis said.
“I take personal responsibility for the misguided notion that operating mission critical Internet infrastructure requires the best technology, experienced staff and a commitment to 100% service excellence. I was wrong.”
“If there is going to be a race to the bottom, then we want to win it. You’d literally have to set up operations in a Cambodian sweatshop to beat us.”
Mr Kinderis also welcomed the appointment of Mr Dicks to Head of India Operations.
“To be honest, I just like the bloke’s name. Raymond Dicks knows nothing about Registry operations but who cares, we got him cheap and he’ll keep costs down – which is what the market is calling for.”
Following in the footsteps of the Beatles, Mr Kinderis also announced plans to travel to Rishikesh, India to attend an advanced Transcendental Meditation training session at the ashram of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
Mr Kinderis will spend his time in Rishikesh meditating on sabbatical in an attempt to find his third eye. It’s hoped that Mr Kinderis’ newly acquired third eye will be able to predict forthcoming ICANN catastrophes such as name collisions, digital archery and the prioritisation draw so ARI can take steps to avoid any impact from issues like these.
Again, this is another cost-saving measure.
